Name: SANTA CLARA

Place of find: Near Santa Clara, Durango, Mexico.

24°28'N., 103°21'W.

Date of find: 1976

Class and type: Iron. Ataxite (nickel-rich) (IV B) 17.9% Ni, 0.80% Co, 0.11 % P, 0.22 ppm Ga, 0.054 ppm Ge, 18 ppm Ir.

Circumstances of find: Not known. Purchased in 1977 by the Center for Meteorite Studies, Arizona State University.
