Valencia Valencia, Spain Find date unknown Ordinary chondrite (H5) A 33.5 kg stone has long been in a collection at the University of Valencia, where it has been known as simply the meteorite. There have been several historic falls in this region with which the present stone might be associated: the Oliva-Gandia fall of 1520 and a possible fall near Valencia in 1603, both having no known specimens. The Olmedilla de Alarcón fall of 1929 is also an H5 but has a light-dark structure and shock veining, neither of which is present in this specimen.
