A-87272 (eucrite)
This section shows an aggregate of elongated, angular to irregular plagioclase and pyroxene (<1.6 mm) with minor amount of opaques and silica minerals. A portion of the section shows granulitic texture. This rock is highly shocked. Almost all plagioclases are converted into maskelynite. | ||||||||||||||||
