Writeup from MN J7(1):
Y-791466, 51-2: Diogenite (B) Y-791466 is a brecciated pyroxene-rich rocks, texturally similar to Y-75032. Dark brown glassy materials are penetrated into fractures of pyroxene clasts and matrices. The chemistries of pyroxene are also similar to those in Y-75032. It contains minor shocked plagioclase grains both in lithic clasts and as fragments in the matrix. The chemical compositions of plagioclase range from An68 to An94, but those of pyroxenes are fairly constant as those in Y-75032. | ||||||||||||||||
