Y-791826, 52-1 The section shows a comminuted matrix of angular fragments of pyroxene and plagioclase (grains up to 1.6 mm). Most of the clasts are ophitic intergrowth of pyroxene and plagioclase, the plagioclase laths up to 0.5 mm long. Pyroxene compositions scatter from Ca4Fe23 to Ca46Fe58. Plagioclase compositions are An78-94. The meteorite is a polymict eucrite. (Similar to Y-82210). | ||||||||||||||||
