Writeuphelp
Writeup from MB 107:
Castenaso, name discredited.

Castenaso has been discredited as a meteorite name due to significant doubt about the location and date of the find. Trace elements measurements reveal Sr and Ba enrichment and suggest geochemical alteration in a hot desert environment (Folco et al. 2007). Quartz grains found in the external fractures of the meteorite have morphology typical of hot desert aeolian environment.

This meteorite is now called Nova 055.
