Achondrite (polymict eucrite)

Two stones totaling 1000 g was found in 2004 in Morocco. Classification and mineralogy (A. Greshake, MNB): a polymict breccia of lithic and mineral clasts set into a fine-grained clastic groundmass of plagioclase, Ca-pyroxene, orthopyroxene, and opaque phases; lithic clasts are basaltic fragments and impact melt clasts; large mineral fragments include plagioclase and exsolved Ca-pyroxene; plagioclase, An86.8 (range An79.9-95.2); pigeonite, Fs44.4-54.3Wo5.4-17.5; augite, Fs25.2Wo41.7; minor phases include orthopyroxene, Fs41.5-50.9Wo2.5-3.5, silica, ilmenite, and Al-Ti-chromite; high degree of shock; moderate degree of weathering. Main mass with anonymous finder; type specimen 28.2 g plus one polished thin section MNB.
