Ureilite The section shows an aggregate of pyroxene and olivine (~1 mm) with dark interstitial materials. Pyroxene typically has fine polysynthetic twinning (~several μm apart). Very fine opaque droplets occur along healed cracks in mafic minerals. Compositions of pyroxenes are Wo4.5-4.7Fs10-12.9 and Wo36.7-37.3Fs5.8-7.4, those of olivine are Fa10.6-13.3. | ||||||||||||||||||
