Yamato 002541


The PTS is composed of chondrules (~0.5-2.5 mm diameter) with partly hydrated mesostasis, set in a dark matrix. Subrounded nodules of FeNi metals are highly abundant. Refractory inclusions are rarely encountered. This meteorite is a CR2 chondrite.
