Macroscopic Description: Kathleen McBride
The exterior fusion crust is rough textured and black in color with evaporites. The interior has a soft black matrix with light colored inclusions.

Thin Section (,2) Description: Tim McCoy and Valerie Reynolds
The sections consist of a few small chondrules (up to 0.5 mm), mineral grains and CAIs set in a black matrix; rare metal and sulfide grains are present. Many chondrules are aqueously altered. Olivine compositions are Fa_0-25, orthopyroxene is Fs_0-4. The matrix consists dominantly of an Fe-rich serpentine. The meteorite is a CM2 chondrite.
