DISCOVERY AND ASSUMED FALL OF THE BAANDEE, AUSTRALIA, STONY METEORITE Name: BAANDEE Place of find: Four miles ESE of Baandee railway station, Western Australia. 31°37'S, 118°02'E. Date of find: 1967; possibly fell 1961 or 1962. Class and type: Stone. Olivine-bronzite chondrite. Number of individual specimens: 1 Total weight: 256.6 g Circumstances of find: A small, very fresh stone was picked up by Mr. R. Spillman while ploughing. Source: G. J. H. McCall. 1972.
