Purchased: 2009

Classification: HED achondrite (Diogenite)

History: The meteorite was purchased from a local meteorite dealer in Erfoud, Morocco.

Physical characteristics: Many small brownish fragments some which with minor fusion crust.

Petrography: The meteorite is a monomict breccia predominantly composed of blocky up to 2.5 mm sized orthoproxene grains and more fine-grained cataclastic regions composed of related material. Minor phases include chromite, troilite, and minor kamacite.

Geochemistry: low-Ca pyroxene: Fs23.1±0.2Wo1.4±0.1 (Fs22.8-23.4Wo1.2-1.5, FeO/MnO=29-34, n=11)
