Northwest Africa 6315 (NWA 6315) (Northwest Africa) Purchased: 2007 Classification: HED achondrite (Diogenite) Petrography: (A. Greshake, MNB) The meteorite displays a grayish interior and is dominantly composed of blocky mm-sized orthopyroxene crystals. Minor phases are olivine, calcic plagioclase, chromite and FeNi metal.
