Northwest Africa 6467 (NWA 6467) Morocco Purchased: September 9, 2009 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L6) Petrography: Crosscut by numerous anastamosing shock veins that locally enlarge to >1 mm across. Shock metamorphism is locally greater adjacent to the veins. Classification: Shock stage based on olivine in areas away from shock veins.
