Northwest Africa 6504 (NWA 6504)

Morocco/Algeria

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L3)

Petrography: The rock is less recrystallized and less equilibrated than H3.8 Dhajala. Many of the low-Ca pyroxene grains have polysnthetic twins. Chondrules lack clear transparent glass. Chondrules average about 400 μm in diameter.
