Classification: Primitive achondrite (Acapulcoite)

Petrography: Metamorphic texture with triple grain junctions; grain size is mostly 0.2-0.4 mm with a few grains to 1 mm. Assemblage of olivine, orthopyroxene, clinopyroxene, kamacite (~15 vol.%, with cuspate grain shapes), troilite and twinned sodic plagioclase.

Geochemistry: Olivine Fa7.4-7.6, Fe/Mn=17; orthopyroxene Fs8.1-8.4, Fe/Mn=11; clinopyroxene Fs3.9Wo42.3-42.6, Fe/Mn=7-8; plagioclase An18.8Or2.9-3.2. Oxygen isotopes (R. Tanaka, OkaU): analyses of acid-washed sub-samples by laser fluorination gave, respectively δ17O -0.580, -0.538; δ18O 1.103, 1.244; Δ17O -1.161, -1.193 per mil.
