Dar al Gani 083 (DaG 083), subclassification Geochemistry: Mineral composition and geochemistry: (S. Ebert, IfP) Olivine in the range Fa0.2-61.1 (mean Fa12.4±15.1, PMD=122%, N=113). Cr2O3 in ferroan olivine 0.19±0.10 wt.% (N=68). Low-Ca pyroxene Fs1.9±1.8Wo1.3±1.0 (N=51). Classification: (S. Ebert, IfP) Carbonacous chondrite - CO3.1; Subtype from Cr2O3 content of ferroan olivine (Grossman and Brearley, 2005) and the very high olivine PMD. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
