Macroscopic Description - Cecilia Satterwhite
The exterior is pitted, and has brown/black patches of fusion crust. The interior is dark gray to black matrix with oxidation and rusty areas. Some small weathered inclusions/chondrules are visible.
Thin Section Description - Cari Corrigan, Tim McCoy and Sheri Singerling
The section exhibits large chondrules (up to 2 mm) and CAIs in a dark matrix. Section is moderately weathered. Olivines range from Fa0-26, and pyroxenes from Fs1. The meteorite is an unequilibrated carbonaceous chondrite, probably a CV3.
