Northwest Africa 8032 (NWA 8032) (Northwest Africa) Purchased: 2012 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L6) History: Purchased by Terry Boswell in 2012 from a dealer in Midelt, Morocco. Petrography: (A. Irving and S. Kuehner, UWS) Rare chondrules. Olivine, orthopyroxene, clinopyroxene, sodic plagioclase, chromite, altered kamacite and troilite. Geochemistry: Olivine (Fa25.0-25.2), orthopyroxene (Fs21.8-22.6Wo1.2-1.6), clinopyroxene (Fs8.0-8.7Wo45.8-45.6). Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L6). Specimens: 25.5 g and one polished thin section are at UWB. The remainder is held by Mr. T. Boswell. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
