Northwest Africa 10076 (NWA 10076)

Northwest Africa

Purchased: 2014-Jan

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H6)

History: Purchased by Fabien Kuntz in January 2014 from a dealer in Erfoud, Morocco.

Petrography: (A. Irving and S. Kuehner, UWS) Largely recrystallized with rare chondrule remnants.

Geochemistry: Olivine (Fa18.8-19.3, N = 2), orthopyroxene (Fs16.1-16.3Wo1.2-1.5, N = 2), clinopyroxene (Fs7.9-8.7Wo43.3-42.3, N = 2).

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H6).

Specimens: 7.15 g including one polished thin section at PSF; main mass with Kuntz.
