Macroscopic Description - Mitchell Haller
Black fusion crust covers 60% of the exterior, some areas are porous. The top has a moss-like texture, while the bottom is smooth and porous. Areas without fusion crust show a dark gray matrix. Some fractures penetrate the surface. The interior is a dark gray matrix with shiny metal and small brown spots, 1-2 mm rusty and weathered.
Thin Section Description (,2) - Cari Corrigan, Tim McCoy
The section consists of rare chondrules, large sulfides (up to 0.3 mm) and magnetite. The meteorite is little weathered, but extensively shock blackened. Silicates are homogeneous. Olivine is Fa34-38. The meteorite appears to be a CK5 chondrite, although the silicates are slightly richer in FeO than typical for CK chondrites (Fa29-33).
