Macroscopic Description - Mitchell Haller
There is a patch of porous black fusion crust on the exterior with moderate fractures. Areas without fusion crust are black/gray/greenish and smooth texture. Some small inclusions are visible. The black matrix has small white inclusions and chondrules.
Thin Section Description (,2) - Cari Corrigan, Tim McCoy
The section consists of a few small chondrules (up to 0.5 mm), mineral grains and CAIs set in a black matrix; rare metal and sulfide grains are present. Olivine compositions are Fa0-37. Aqueous alteration of the matrix and chondrules is substantial. The meteorite is a CM2 chondrite.
