Kerman 140 30°40.136’N, 57°52.540’E Kerman, Iran Find: 2016 May Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L5) Physical characteristics: Covered by a black fusion crust. Relatively big chondrules and some FeNi metal/troilite grains visible in the cut surface. Petrography: Microscopic observations of a polished mount reveal a well-preserved chondritic texture. FeNi metal and troilite are well-separated. Plagioclase maximum size 80 μm. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
