Deán Funes Cordoba, Argentina Found, and possibly fell, ca. 1977; recognized 1997 Ordinary chondrite (H5) A 9.26 kg stone was observed to fall by an anonymous person who kept it in his garden until it was identified and bought by an anonymous meteorite collector. Classification and mineralogy (M. Ghélis and B. Zanda, MNHNP): olivine, Fa19.6; pyroxene Fs17.4Wo1.3; shock stage S2; weathering grade W1.
