Macroscopic Description - Cecilia Satterwhite

90% black/brown; oxidation halos; some rusty areas; Interior - medium gray matrix with heavy oxidation in areas; abundant mm sized inclusions/chondrules; metal.

Thin Section Description (,2) - Cari Corrigan, Tim McCoy

The section exhibits numerous small (up to 1.5 mm), well-defined chondrules in a black matrix of fine-grained silicates, metal and troilite. Polysynthetically twinned pyroxene is abundant. The meteorite is moderately weathered. Silicates are unequilibrated; olivines range from Fa_18-27 and pyroxenes from Fs_6-28. The meteorite is an L3 chondrite (estimated subtype 3.8).
