Find: Nov 2018

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L~4)

History: (Ziyao Wang) Purchased by Ziyao Wang from the finder Tailu Zhao (Shanshan County, Xinjiang) in Shanshan/Xinjiang in 2018. This meteorite was discovered in Nov. 2018.

Physical characteristics: black-brown nearly round stone of 189 g with rusty surface

Petrography: (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) brown matrix with well-developed gray chondrules (0.3-1.5 mm, av. 0.8 mm) and few metal and sulfide specks

Geochemistry: Magnetic susceptibility (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) log χ (× 10^-9 m³/kg) = 4.48

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L~4, W4)

Specimens: 21.4 g on deposit at Kiel, Ziyao Wang holds the main mass, and 20 g with Bart.
