Find: 19. Mar 2016

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H~6)

History: (Ziyao Wang) Discovered by the geologist Wang Rongqing (Changji/Xinjiang) during field work in the Korla area on 19 Mar 2016.

Physical characteristics: (Ziyao Wang) Black-brown stone of 253 g without fusion crust

Petrography: (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) brown and dark-gray, recrystallized matrix, with poorly defined chondrules (0.2-1.3 mm, av. 0.5 mm) and irregular tiny metal specks (av. 0.1 mm).

Geochemistry: Magnetic susceptibility (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) log χ (× 10-9 m3/kg) = 4.90

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H~6, W4)

Specimens: 20.1 g on deposit at Kiel, Ziyao Wang holds the main mass, and 28 g with Bart.
