Zufar, Oman

Find: 2014 Nov

Classification: Carbonaceous chondrite (CK6)

Petrography: Chondrite with recrystallized texture. Chondrules (mm sized) are integrated in a recrystallized matrix. Opaques are Cr-bearing magnetite and sulfides. No metal was observed.

Geochemistry: Olivine Fa28.4±0.2, NiO 0.38±0.04 wt% (n=3)

Classification: Carbonaceous chondrite (CK6)

Specimens: Type specimen at CEREGE. Main mass with Kuntz.
