Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL3)

History: Purchased by Ben Hoefnagels in November 2018 from a dealer in Agadir, Morocco.

Petrography: (A. Irving and S. Kuehner, UWS) Well-formed, closely packed chondrules (apparent diameter 740±410 µm, N = 23) are set in a fine grained matrix containing stained metal.

Geochemistry: Olivine (Fa33.1±20.6 (1.7-59.4), Cr2O3 in ferroan examples 0.05-0.10 wt.%, mean 0.08±0.02 wt.%, N = 7), low-Ca pyroxene (Fs 10.7±8.1 (2.0-18.1)Wo1.2±1.1 (0.2-2.4), N = 3), pigeonite (Fs16.9Wo17.5), diopside (Fs2.7Wo47.1). Magnetic susceptibility log χ (× 10-9 m3/kg) = 3.54.

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL3).

Specimens: 20.4 g including one polished thin section at UWB; remainder with Mr. B. Hoefnagels.
