Mauritania

Purchased: 2019 Jan

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H6, melt breccia)

History: Purchased in Nouakchott in January 2019

Physical characteristics: 8 stones ranging from 45 to 209g.

Petrography: (J. Gattacceca, CEREGE) Highly shocked and partialy molten type 6 chondritic clasts containing fizzed metal and troilite grains set in a melt rock matrix containing abundant eutectic assemblages of sulfide and metal.

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H6-melt breccia)

Specimens: Type specimen at CEREGE. Main mass with Kuntz.
