El Médano 404 (EM 404) ~24°51’S, ~70°32’W Antofagasta, Chile Find: 2016 Apr 09 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL5-6) Physical characteristics: Full stone with fresh fusion crust Petrography: (J. Gattacceca, CEREGE) Brecciated ordinary chondrite with cm-sized clasts in a cataclastic matrix. Type 5 and 6 material is present. Melt pockets and opaque veinlets are found.
