Classification: HED achondrite (Diogenite)

History: The meteorite was purchased from a local meteorite dealer in Zagora, Morocco.

Physical characteristics: Single stone partly covered by fusion crust.

Petrography: The meteorite is an achondritic breccia composed of two types of low-Ca pyroxene, olivine, and less abundant calcic feldspar. Minerals are up to 4 mm in size and embedded in fine-grained clastic matrix. Minor phases include silica, chromite, FeS, and metallic Fe.

Geochemistry: pyroxene: Fs_22.3.0±0.2Wo_1.4±0.1(Fs_22.0-22.6Wo_1.2-1.5, n=13, FeO/MnO=25-28); pyroxene: Fs_29.7±1.8Wo_2.8±0.3(Fs_28.1-33.9Wo_2.6-3.6, n=12, FeO/MnO=30-33); olivine: Fa_28.2±0.7(Fa_27.1-29.2, n=17, FeO/MnO=48±2); calcic plagioclase: An_90.7±0.4(An_90.0-91.1, n=16)
