Antofagasta, Chile

Find: 2017 Feb 17

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H5)

History: Found on coarse stony pediment. There were several fragments up to 10 m distance.

Physical characteristics: The main fargment is 30.5 kg.

Petrography: (J. Gattacceca, CEREGE) Equilibrated ordinary chondrite with plagioclase average size below 50 µm. Shock veins.
