Find: 2018 Oct 03

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H4)

History: This stone was recovered by Robert Verish while he was searching for meteorites along the margin of a sand-dune field.

Physical characteristics: The physical description for this 6.6 g chondritic stone is identical to Daveytown 003 and 004, such as, many chondrules stand-out in high relief on the exterior surface.

Petrography: (D. Sheikh, FSU) Composed of small to medium-sized chondrules (average ~0.4 mm) in a fine-grained matrix.

Geochemistry: Olivine, Fa18.8±0.8 (N=25); orthopyroxene, Fs18.3±1.3Wo1.7±0.1, (N=25).

Classification: Ordinary Chondrite (H4)

Specimens: 1.32 grams at UCLA; main mass with Verish.
