Classification: Carbonaceous chondrite (CM2)

History: Purchased by Carlos Muñecas in 19 mar 2019 from a nomad in Guelmin, Morocco

Physical characteristics: Almost black individuals partly covered with fusion crust. Friable.

Petrography: Porous aggregate of chondrules with an apparent diameter of 0.2-2 mm (N=11) and often surrounded by fine-grained accretionary rims plus tiny mafic silicate grains (olivine and pyroxene) occur in an extremely fine-grained black matrix containing magnetite, sulfides and phyllosilicates (75-80 vol% by point counting).

Geochemistry: Mineral compositions and geochemistry: Mean values of defocused matrix analyses (all wt%; N=10): SiO2: 28.1, TiO2: 0.12; Na2O: 0.09; Cr2O3: 0.63, MgO: 18.2, MnO: 0.16, CaO: 0.15, FeO: 22.6, Al2O3: 1.98, NiO: 0.82, P2O5: 0.02, S: 0.65, Total: 73.5. Olivine Fa1.2-45.4, Cr2O3=0.22-0.49 (N=8). Low-Ca pyroxene Fs0.9-6.7Wo3.0-4.3 (N=4).
