Morocco

Purchased: 2012

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L4)

History: Purchased from Said Hadnany who acquired it from Morocco. Sample is catalogued at the ROM as LM58144

Petrography: Chondrules are well defined, matrix has begun coarsening but ultimately remains cryptocrystalline. Minor undulose extinction indicates a very weak shock. Moderately weathered, approximately 20-30% of metal and sulfides have been oxidized.
