Purchased: 2019 Sep

Classification: HED achondrite (Eucrite)

Physical characteristics: Several fragments, some with fusion crust, some without.

Petrography: (J. Gattacceca, CEREGE) Igneous rock with ophitic texture. Minerals include dominant exsolved pyroxene and plagioclase (grain size about 700 μm), chromite, troilite, silica polymorph, Fe,Ni metal.

Geochemistry: Pyroxenes: low Ca-pyroxene Fs_62.2±0.8Wo_3.3±1.0(n=3), Ca-pyroxene Fs_30.8Wo_39.8(n=2), FeO/MnO=34.7±2.1 (n=5). Plagioclase An_88.1.3Ab_11.6Or_0.3(n=1).
