Chwichiya 007 27°24’39"N, 11°4’27"W Saguia el Hamra, Western Sahara Find: 2020 Aug 15 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL6) Physical characteristics: Crusted stone. Cut surface reveals a dark interior with small metal grains. Petrography: (J. Gattacceca, CEREGE) Highly recrystallized ordinary chondrite with some triple junctions. Plagioclase size ~100 µm. Chromite to 300 µm. Specimens: Type specimen at CEREGE. Main mass with Jérémy Bassemon. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
