Calama 137 22°26’18.40"S, 68°51’2.90"W Antofagasta, Chile Find: 2019 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H4) History: Found in Chile by an anonymous finder. Provided to Fabien Kuntz by Jimmy Pizarro. Petrography: (J. Gattacceca, CEREGE) Chondrite with packed well-defined chondrules with average apparent diameter about 400 µm. Opaque are metal and sulfides. Chondrule mesosatis is devitrified. Geochemistry: Olivine core down to Fa9.8. Specimens: Type specimen at CEREGE. Main mass with Kuntz. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
