Northwest Africa 13725 (NWA 13725)

Purchased: 2017 Jul

Classification: Ureilite

Petrography: (J. Gattacceca, CEREGE) Blocky assemblage of olivine (grain size 1.2 mm) with thin reduced rim and C material along the grain rims. Chromite to 50 µm. Metal is present.

Geochemistry: Olivine Fa24.8±0.0 (n=3), rims Fa19.5 and Fa 17.6 (n=2), FeO/MnO = 48.9±4.4 (n=5). Chromite Cr# = 0.79 (n=1).

Classification: Ureilite

Specimens: Type specimen at CEREGE. Main mass with Nourddinez Azelmat.
