Northwest Africa 13782 (NWA 13782) (Northwest Africa) Purchased: 2018 Nov Classification: HED achondrite (Eucrite) Petrography: Basalt with major mineral unzoned pigeonite (~60 vol.%) and plagioclase (~35 vol.%). Minor mineral include silica polymorph, augite, troilite. The size of pigeonite and plagioclase mainly ranges from 100 to 2000 µm Geochemistry: Ca-pyroxene Fe23.8±0.9Wo46.5±0.1 (n=4).
