Northwest Africa 13795 (NWA 13795)        ~31°05’N, ~3°57’W

Centre-South, Morocco

Find: 2010

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L~6)

History: Discovered by Ait Kabboura Imad close to Merdane in 2010

Physical characteristics: One 286 g brown stone with some fusion crust and light brown interior cut face.

Petrography: Indistinct chondrules of about 0.7 mm set in a strongly recrystallized matrix metal and sulfide

Geochemistry: Magnetic susceptibility (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) log χ (× 10-9 m3/kg) = 4.75

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L~6, W3)

Specimens: 22.5 g on deposit at Kiel, Ait Kabboura Imad (Liege/B) holds the main mass, and 16 g with Bart.
