Paposo 072 25°10.256’S, 70°04.672’W Antofagasta, Chile Find: 2018 Dec Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L3) Petrography: (J. Gattacceca, CEREGE) Brecciated chondrite with well delineated chondrules. Chondrule mesostatis is devitrified. Opaque phases are metal and sulfides. Shock darkened with µm sized opaque grains in the silicates and opaque veinlets. Geochemistry: Olivine Fa25.5±2.4, range Fa23.0-31.1, Fa PMD = 6.3% , Cr2O3 = 0.05±0.02 wt% (n=7). Low-Ca pyroxene Fs11.8±4.9, range Fs5.3-21.0 (n=7). Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L3). Specimens: Type specimen at CEREGE. Main mass with Artmet | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
