Classification: Martian meteorite (Shergottite)

History: (Ziyao Wang) Purchased by Ziyao Wang from a Moroccan dealer at the mineral show in Chenzhou in May 2019 and donated to Rainer Bartoschewitz in 2020

Physical characteristics: 3.0 g dark green-brown fragment with pitted surface

Petrography: (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) gabbroic texture (mean grain size 0.7 mm) of predominantly pyroxene, shock-darkened olivine, maskelynite, and accessory opaque minerals (chromite, ilmenite).

Geochemistry: (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart, P. Appel and B. Mader, Kiel) Pigeonite En70-53Fs25-34Wo15-5, augite En50-43Fs25-19Wo32-31, FeO/MnO=31 (n=9); olivine Fo54-58,FeO/MnO=55 (n=6); maskelynite An55-52Or1-2 (n=4); chromite CRAL=86-87, FFM=76-89 (n=3), ilmenite. Magnetic susceptibility (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) log χ (× 10-9 m3/kg) = 3.61
