Chug Chug 095 22°29.42’S, 69°7.57’W Antofagasta, Chile Find: 21 Oct 2019 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H3-5) Petrography: The meteorite has brecciated texture. Angular fragments 0.5-2 cm in size are composed of chondrite material of type 5. The breccia matrix is clastic, and made of chondrules and chondrule fragments (type 5). Inclusions of unequilibrated chondrules and objects of type 3 are also present. Geochemistry: Mineral compositions and geochemistry: equilibrated components of the breccia matrix have olivine Fa18.6±0.4 (N=20); Fs16.6±0.4Wo1.5±0.2 (N=16); unequilibrated material have olivine Fa13.9±9.6; PMD Fa = 56% (N=20); pyroxene Fs8.8±5.9Wo1.1±0.5 (N=6). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
