Classification: Carbonaceous chondrite (CO3)

Physical characteristics: A dark stone. Cut surface reveals a dark interior with small chondrules.

Petrography: (J. Gattacceca, CEREGE) Small chondrules (~150 µm in diameter) set in an abundant fine-grained iron-rich matrix. CAIs were observed in the studied section. Opaque minerals are metal and troilite. Terrestrial weathering is strong.

Geochemistry: Olivine Fa_18.1±18.5, range Fa_0.6-46.0(n=15), Cr₂O₃ in ferroan olivine 0.30±0.14 (n=12). Low-Ca pyroxene Fs_2.4±0.9Wo_2.5±1.1(n=3). Ca-pyroxene Fs_19.9Wo_42.8(n=1). Defocalized matrix analyses FeO = 51.9±2.6 wt%, analytical total 85.2±2.2 (n=3).
