Northwest Africa 14022 (NWA 14022)

Mauritania

Purchased: 2018 Mar

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L6)

Petrography: (J. Gattacceca, CEREGE) Ordinary chondrite with recrystallized yet easily discernible chondrules with typical size ~800 µm. The inter-chondrule porosity is 5.3% (point counting, n=322), under the form of ~50 µm cavities. Native copper is present, associated with metal.
