Northwest Africa 14150 (NWA 14150) (Northwest Africa) Purchased: 2021 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L4) History: The meteorite was purchased from a dealer in Mauritania. Physical characteristics: Two grayish fragments partly covered witth fusion crust. Petrography: The meteorite shows a chondritic texture with well-defined, partly flattened, and densely packed chondrules (apparent mean diameter about 0.6 mm) set in a fresh grayish matrix with metal and sulfides. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
