Northwest Africa 14154 (NWA 14154)

Purchased: 2021

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L4)

History: The meteorite was purchased from a dealer in Dakhla, Western Sahara.

Physical characteristics: Dark-brownish rocks without fusion crust.

Petrography: The meteorite shows a chondritic texture with well-defined, mostly rounded and partly packed chondrules (apparent mean diameter about 0.7 mm) set in a brownish matrix with partly altered metal and sulfides.
