Karaman 002 37°10’40.49"N, 33°30’16.76"E Konya, Turkey Find: 2021 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H5) History: Found by Mehmet Yesiltas during the systematic search of dry and flat surfaces in Turkey as part of an ongoing field project. Physical characteristics: An almost fully fusion crusted sample with a broken corner. Petrography: Chondrules are not very easy to discern. Recrystallized matrix appears to be lighthly rusted. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
